Richard Henchley is a solicitor whose career was in industry in consumer goods, construction products and engineering (General Counsel and Secretary of Rolls-Royce), with particular interests in intellectual property and environmental law. An Hon. Treasurer of the Law Society he was a lay member of the Architects Registration Board and the ICAEW Audit Review Committee. He was Chair of East Thames Housing Group and of the Attlee Foundation and a Board Member of Waltham Forest Primary Care Trust with special responsibility for Public Health.
