Sue is now running her own consultancy business advising on strategic land use planning and transport issues, specialising in integrating planning and transport, including Workplace Parking Levy. She was Director of Planning and Transport at Nottingham City Council from 2012 to 2016, having previously been responsible for developing the first (and so far only) Workplace Parking Levy scheme in Nottingham from its initial stages and developing pioneering travel plans and employer transport forums, including commissioning the Big Wheel integrated transport marketing campaign. In between stints at Nottingham she worked internationally as a consultant in transport strategies and developing ideas around mobility as a service.
